My Brothers and Sisters:
Know that Fr. Michael and I keep you always in our prayers, but especially during this difficult time. As church, we are doing all we can to be as present to our flock as we are able under the current restrictions. To that end, please be aware that the church office is closed until further notice. If you need assistance, please call the parish office at 937-698-4520 and follow the appropriate prompts. The church remains open for personal prayer Mon-Fri 9am-7pm and Sat 9am-5pm.
Secondly, I would like to take this opportunity to encourage you to continue your financial giving to the parish, if you are able. I am aware of how the current restrictions are hurting our people financially. I will continue to pray for all of you. However, the reality is that for our catholic parishes our primary income is from the contributions of the faithful. I am asking you to prayerfully put your trust in God’s never-failing love and continue to support our parish. As a staff we are working with finance council to cut costs wherever we are able such as turning the heat down, keeping lights off, suspending contracts, etc. We will continue to share other costs saving measures we are taking.
The following are ways to make your contribution:
· Online Giving. Our parish is now able to accept your contribution through an online giving product called WeShare. It is a highly secure, user-friendly product and there is no cost to you. We have a link to our church’s personal account on our website. After clicking the link on our website, you will choose “Make a Donation” and select from different options and register as a user (which will track activity for your records and our records). If you have previously received offertory envelopes, we will place your number in your WeShare record. While not required, members can print a donation slip to give during services.
